18 Weeks!!

Wahoo! We hit 18 weeks yesterday!! I came to the realization sitting at the airport that this marked half way for us. We're officially 4.5 months into this amazing journey, and since my doc won't let me go the entire 9 months, it's likely we'll make it to about 8.5 months. I'm so excited it's ridiculous!

How big are the Harber babies?
The babies are about 5.5 inches long, and about 7 ounces a piece. Roughly this is the length of a sweet potatoe!

What's going on with the Harber babies?
Head to rump, your baby is approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, although he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.

Symptoms:
Again, the feet swelling thing BIG time. But..granted that we walked around the strip in Vegas all day on Sat. I kind of expected this. I can't even tell you how exhausted I was that night..or how tired I still am really.

Body Changes:
Well..I officially gained 6 lbs on our vacation. I'm not sure if it's a combo of the yummy crappy food we were eating the entire ten days we were gone, or water weight, or if this is actually baby weight now. Regardless I'm still down five lbs from the get go.
Here's a little pic of us, kind of in between the 17/18 week marks. :)

153 days left to go!

Another awesome little nugget, we have our anatomy scan on Friday. I'm really praying they both cooperate and we can see what these LOs are! Also, they've both been kicking up a storm! It's so awesome! Luke has finally felt them move from the outside too, which is just an amazing thing to be able to share with him. It seriously made me cry. I'm such a softie. Haha. They particularly didn't like it when we were flying! Haha.
