20 Weeks!

Well this officially marks the "half way point." Luke and I enjoyed some pretty sweet "half baked" by Ben and Jerry's. :P

How big are the Harber babies?
They're about 8-10 inches long each, weighing between 10 and 11 oz. a piece. This is roughly the size of a cantalope.

What's going on with the Harber babies?
You're at the halfway mark — congratulations! Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (The way your baby is measured changes now.) He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (although some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

Symtoms:
I'm still incredibily exhausted. But gosh what do you expect growing two little humans?!

Body Changes:
Well, I've lost two more lbs. Officially up a solid 4 lbs from the lowest point in the pregnancy though. I read somewhere that the babies have literally quadrupled in size over the last month. I believe it! You'll believe it too when you see my belly!
See I wasn't joking! Those babies are getting big! Lol. What's pretty neat this week? They've started responding to me. Like if I feel one kick, I can tap in that area, and they'll kick me again. :P Pretty amazing!

140 days to go!
