26 Weeks

I'm 6 and a half months! Gracious!

How big are the Harber girls?
They're 14 inches long, and weigh roughly 1 lbs and two thirds. This is about the size of a cucumber or eggplant.

What's going on with the Harber girls?
The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take two to three days.

This is ENTIRELY true. The girls have really started moving when they hear Luke's voice. It makes me laugh. I told him he needs to read to them. :)

Symtoms:
Nothing this week. :)

Body Changes:
Still no weight gain or loss at this point. Again, not that I'm complaining. Boy are these girls ACTIVE though! They are ALL over the place, and my stomach completely moves whenver they kick or roll around. See?!
It's such a weird sensation, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. It makes me really happy when they wiggle because they hear Luke. :)
As far as the bump goes, it gets bigger every week. We went out to the Rodeo saturday. Here's a pic from that.

We're down to 97 DAYS! Holy cow!
