29 Weeks

Sorry I'm so late this week. It's been kind of chaotic.

How big are the Harber girls?
Well there's supposed to be about 2 1/2 lbs a piece and about 15 inches long. (About the length of a butternut squash.) Actually  at our u/s Baby A weighed 2 lbs. 8 oz. and Baby B weighed 3 lbs. 1 oz. She's going to be a chunk I tell you! I can't believe there's that much difference between them in a months time. She was only a ounce bigger than her sister at the last one.

What's  going on with the Harber girls?
Your baby is growing rapidly now. This week he weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is getting bigger to accommodate his growing brain – which is busy developing billions of neurons. Every day, about 200 milligrams of calcium is deposited in your baby's skeleton, which is now hardening. With this rapid growth, it's no surprise that your baby's nutritional needs reach their peak during this trimester

Symtoms:
Well, morning sickness is back. Ugh. I thought I was out of the woods. I'm pretty sure it's just because my stomach is literally under my ribs, but who knows.

Body Changes:
Well I've officially put on another lb. This makes me UP one from pre-pregnancy. (Honestly I'm still amazed by this. Considering I have almost 6 lbs of baby in there, plus the fluid and placentas..I'm pretty happy that I'm not feeling like a freakin whale at this point...ask me again in a few weeks. Haha.)
The bump is huge. I've come to realize that. Mostly because it makes my boobs look tiny now, which I also find comical.

Hopefully we have 8 more weeks until we meet these baby girls! :D
