32 Weeks!

Wow! Can you believe I've made it here? 8 months, and hopefully just a few more weeks to go until we get to meet our little girls.

How big are the Harber girls?
They should be about 3.75 lbs and be about 16.75 inches long.

What's going on with the Harber girls?
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb.  (Yeap..as you will quickly see below.)

Symtoms:
Well shortness of breath is killing me. I'm starting to have a really hard time sleeping because of it. I'm not sure that I'll ever get relief either since our little Katie Bug likes hanging out on her mama's right side up under my ribs. (Kara sits down low on my left side by my hip mostly.) We have an u/s next monday, so we should get to see what position they're in for the day.

Body Changes:
Well, it's happened. They've made me start gaining. (Though I'm sure it's all going to them. They're supposed to be gaining ounces like crazy at this point.) I gained 4 lbs since my last doctors appt. It doesn't seem to be going away either.
Here the bump pic for the week, followed by a comparison shot from the last three months.

  1. What a beautiful bump! Keep those Harper girls cookin'! And as for pounds? My BFF just lost 33lbs in one week from giving birth to a single...no worries!
